Steps to Start

While most people follow the same set of guidelines to start their business, there are a few unique steps involved in the creation of an art education establishment.

          1. Determine what type of art medium you will teach.

          2. Determine your lesson or class rates.

          3. Create written documentation of all lesson or class guidelines and expectations.

          4. Obtain all necessary materials such as art supplies, equipment and studio

              space.
